Old Growth Arts broadens the dialogue on what it means to have a sense of place. It does this by facilitating a balance between nature and art -- the ecology of nature and the ecology of culture. Old Growth Arts support artists, thinkers and writers who are young or old, homegrown or international, by providing space and time in an atmosphere that is conducive to reflection, meditation, study and creative labor. Old Growth Arts’ purpose resonates with a larger mission to expand civic dialogue by increasing access to independent voices. We especially welcome those artists and writers with indigenous roots in the area, as well as to those from abroad; each is a voice deepening the dialogue on place.
