To apply to the fall Old Growth Arts residency at Leonard Lake Reserve, please submit via email:

  1. 1.A one page description of yourself, your interests, your work, the goals you hope to accomplish during the residency, how you heard about Old Growth Arts, and whether you have been to Leonard Lake before.

  2. 2.Your resume or curriculum vitae

  3. 3.Samples of your work: Photos of paintings, clips of articles or other writing, MPEG recordings of music, or video clips of performance or digital art. If you have a website where these are listed, please list the URL on your resume.

The residency program begins in October, and lasts for nine days. The setting is remote; about 8 miles down a dirt road and 20 miles from the town of Ukiah. The fall 2009 residency will be open to three artists. We will share dinner, readings, and music in the evenings, but no formal program during the days. Simple bag lunches will be delivered to the studios. Residents are welcome to participate in tending the garden, cooking, or maintaining hiking trails on the surrounding land. Please refer to the Guidelines for more information.
